Florida Eels announce Tryout Dates and Times For Fall Travel Teams
2010-03-11
The Florida Eels will be hosting Tryouts in May for their Tier II Travel teams. The Eels will be fielding a Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and U16 Midget Team in the Fall The Florida Eels are very excited about the prospects of having 5 travel teams in the fall 2010. All of the teams will be playing in the FAHL. At tryouts, we will determine whether the teams will play AA or A. It is the policy of the Florida Eels organization that the level of the team should be decided when we evaluate the talent of the players at tryouts rather than arbitrarily designate AA or A.
The Eels will again attempt to provide 3 practices per week for the players. These additional practice sessions along with 2-3 hours of fitness and off-ice conditioning sessions has gone a long way in developing our players. In following the ADM Model of USA Hockey, the Eels stress player development and training over games. That is why we strive to provide the maximum amount of practice time.

May 13th Thursday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Squirts and Peewees
May 15th Saturday 3:;0pm - 4:30 pm Bantams
