Jr C Team goes 1-2 in SEJHL Playoffs

The Jr C Team battles Hard at the end of year playoffs but comes up short finishing 3rd overall The Eels Jr C team lost to the Palm Beach Hawks in game 1. In game 2 the Eels lost to the Hampton Rhode Whalers who went on to win the SEJHL Playoff title and earn the right to go to Nationals. Despite the 2 game set back, the Eels did not quit and continued to press on in game 3 vs. the Tampa Ice Bolts. In game 3 the Eels defeated the Bolts 7-3.
Although the Jr C team does not move on we saw tremendous improvement in the team and players all year long. The SEJHL Eels are our Junior Development squad and we saw 6 players move to the Jr B tem this year and another 5 go to the USA Hockey Jr C All Start event in Walpole. We are very proud of this team and all of the players. We see many of these guys moving on up next season.
Recognizing the improvement in the level of play and the success of this program, USA Hockey has already granted our SEJHL Eels Jr B status for next season
