A Great Experience!

Squirt team goes 1 and 2 at Silverstick but comes home with greater experience and knowledge of more intensified hockey played at their own level. Not disappointed with their one win after facing top two teams from Canada.

Eels squirt team takes two tough losses against the two teams that went into the championship game. Some from our team watched that championship game with excitement and chose to support the Harrow team which took the championship.  The Eels faced some challenges with how the game is played north of the border including delayed off sides and slap shots at the squirt level. The game was more physical but not dirty.  In the game the Eels did win against Ennismore Eagles which was a back and forth game, Jake Bojarzin, Ryan Boyd and Henry Maag each found the back of the net.  Over the weekend, there were a couple players that stepped up their game, Tristan Roost and Asher Markowski played their best games yet and against tougher competition. Some that always give 110%, Jake Bojarzin and Anthony Sozio had a tremendous weekend.  All the players worked hard and gave it their all.  Jake Bojarzin impressed many with his skills and was selected as a member of the 2009/2010 Silverstick All Star Team.  The team bonded off the ice as well.  Coach Craig took the team to a Sarnia Sting Junior game as a gift for all their hard work during this season.  The team had many a snowball fight behind the motel and enjoyed snow tubing together. There were many team meals, playstaion games and even their own mma wrestling in Coach Craig's room.  The bonding experience for all was priceless.  For more pics go to squirt team link.
